Here it is another year and getting ready to head to The Orangeville Curling Club for our School Curling League. It is exciting to begin another year and we should get all set to begin our year in January 2016.  We will be beginning our year on Monday, January 16, 2017.

Joining us this year will be:  St. Peter,  Princess Elizabeth, Grand Valley, Princess Margaret, Parkinson, Mono Amaranth, Credit Meadows and St. Benedict.

Game Dates:

January 16, 23, 30; February 6, 13, 27; March 6, 20

Wednesday March 22 Bonspiel Day, 2 games, snacks and lunch…beginning around 9:30 AM ending around 2:30 PM with championship trophy presentation.  Sponsored by DACAR; Mr. & Mrs. Dave Gillespie.

Coaches are responsible for all of their board documentation, arranging transportation and supervision of their students at all times, on and off the ice.  Parents and children attending as on-lookers are expected to remain seated behind the glass.  After the initial two weeks of instruction, and getting the first game underway, coaching will become minimal, as the students are allowed to play the game.

Be sure that students have clean, clean, clean, appropriate shoes for the ice and dress warmly.  On “No Bus Days” the scheduled game is cancelled.  Students will go downstairs along the rugs and leave boots and shoes downstairs, then proceed up the second set of stairs into the back lounge for instruction.

Thank you so much for all of the years of commitment, fun and good sportsmanship.
